Regional Workshop on Fisheries Yield Assessment of Different Habitat Types (October 27-28, 2022)

Hanoi: Cambodia working group comes from Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Fisheries Administration, and Cambodia National Mekong Committee participated in regional workshop on (1) fisheries yield assessment of different habitat types and (2) 2021 Lower Mekong Water Quality Monitoring Report and result of Proficiency Testing and was attended by member countries, MRCS, and international consultant. The objectives of the workshop are: 1. Review and discuss on the result of fisheries yield assessment of different habitat types; 2. Review the approach and methodology and share lesson learned to improve the future work on fisheries yields assessment of different habitat types; and 3. Review and discuss on the 2021 LMB water quality monitoring report and result of Proficiency Testing....

Regional Meeting on Enhanced MRC-IS Data Portal Services and Improved National Information Systems for Synergies (October 27, 2022)

Luang Prabang: H.E Mr. Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General of CNMC led the Technical Working Group for Cambodia to participate in the Regional Meeting on Enhanced MRC-IS Data Portal Services and Improved National Information Systems for Synergies. The Meeting was chaired by TD Director of the MRC Secretariat with participation of the MRC  member countries, MRCS team, and National &International expert. The Meeting’s objectives are (1) to  build and strengthen technical capacity for line agencies; to review and discuss on the progress and key achievements on the National IS implementation in 2022 and (2) to review on the updated and enhanced MRC-IS functionalities and services for future direction moving forward in line with the reinvigoration concept....
