National Consultation Workshop on the Integrate Water Resources Management in Cambodia (January 18, 2022)

Kampot: HE Te Navuth, Permanent Vice Chairman of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) participated in chairing the National Consultation Workshop that organized by Cambodian Water Partnership in collaboration with the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology on the Integrate water resources Management in Cambodia with participation of representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, such us Institute of Technology of Cambodia , Royal University of Agriculture Chamkar Dong, Community of water use in Prey Veng and Kandal provinces, Fish conservation community of Ek Phnom district in Battambang province. The objective of the workshop is to review, discuss and agree on (1) the draft guidelines for the action plan to respond to the challenges by the end of 2021 and (2) the draft action plan for 2022....

7th Training Workshop on Capacity Building for Maintenance of the Decision Support System (January 13-14, 2022)

Kampong Cham: the Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) organized the 7th training workshop on capacity building for maintenance of the Decision Support System (DSS) for the Se kong, Se San, Srepok, and four Prek (4Ps) basins through the Mekong IWRM Project Phase3 (MIWRMP3) as one of the training activities previously organized by the Project. This training workshop was chaired by HE Watt Botkosal, Deputy Secretary-General of CNMC Secretariat and Manager of MIWRMP3 Component 2, was attended by project implementation officers from the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and Provinces and Departments of Water Resources and Meteorology of Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanak Kiri and Mondul Kiri provinces, and the CNMC, as well as the national expertise of DHI Technical Advisers.
