Kampong Cham: Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) had organized the National Consultation Meeting on the 3rd Draft “Report on experiences and opportunities for coordinated operating mechanisms and cooperation arrangements on dam operations”, which was presided over and leaded the discussion by His Excellency Mr. Te Navuth, Permanent Vice Chairman of CNMC. The participants of the meeting include, the members of CNMCS PNPCA Working Group, the members of Inter-ministerial PNPCA Working Group (MOWRAM, MoE, MAFF, MME, and MPWT), the members of the National Expert Group on PNPCA, Technical staff from EDC and EAC, relevant staff from MRC Secretariat, and International Consultant on Hydropower Cascade Coordinated Operation. National Consultation Meeting to Review the Draft Activities/Project Implementation Plan for Flood and Drought (September 28, 2021)

Kampong Cham: H.E So Sophort, Secretary General of the Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), chaired a National Consultation Meeting to review the draft Activities/Project Implementation Plan (PIP) for Flood and Drought for 2021- 2024 with participation of representatives from relevant ministries, institutions, provincial departments, the MRC Secretariat and the CNMC General Secretariat. Joint Workshop on Transboundary Water Resources Management for the Se San and Sre Pok River Basins (September 27, 2021)

Kampong Cham: The Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) and the Vietnam National Mekong Committee (VNMC) held a joint workshop on transboundary water resources management between the two countries for the Se San and Sre Pok River Basins (2S) via online Videoconference.  Excellency Te Navuth, Permanent Vice-Chairman of CNMC and Director of the Mekong Integrated Water Resources Management Project, Phase III (MIWRMP3) led the Cambodia Delegates who are project officials from CNMC and the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, as well as representatives from Technical Advisory (DHI). The Vietnamese delegation was led by Dr. Truong Hong Tien, Deputy Director-General of the VNMC.  A technical officer from the World Bank was also in attendance. Phnom Penh: Mekong River Commission Secretariat (MRCS) had organized the Regional Consultation Meeting on the Progress of the Pilot Study on Sustainable Groundwater Use and Management for Agriculture (SGUMA) - Phase 2, which presided over and leaded the discussion by Mr. Bounttien Sanaxonh, Director of Planning Division, MRCS and participated by the EGPDs from the four member countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR., Thailand, and Viet Nam), relevant MRCS staff, and International Consultant.
