2nd Meeting of National Logistics Committee (June 25, 2021)
Phnom Penh: H.E Mr. Te Navuth, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) and Mr. Thoun Sokchea, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation of CNMC participated in the second meeting of National Logistics Committee through the Video Conference by reviewing and approving the draft document on "Masterplan on Intermodal Transport Connectivity and Logistics System (ITC-LS)". National Technical Meeting on Expansion of Drought Indicators Monitoring Stations (June 25, 2021)  Kampong Cham: H.E So Sophot, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, chaired the National Technical Meeting on Expansion of Drought Indicators Monitoring Stations under the MRC Drought Management Strategy 2021-2025 with participation of representatives from relevant line ministries/agencies, provincial departments, expert of the MRC Secretariat and the CNMC General Secretariat As a result, the Meeting: (1) are familiar with the process of monitoring the drought indicators for 2021-2022 as part of the Mekong River Commission Drought Management Strategy 2021-2025 (2) discussed the selected parameters and sites selection criteria in determining the location of stations for monitoring the drought situation, type of equipment to be used, responsible institutions/units and work plans; According to the Meeting’s result, a field mission will be conducted to assess the current status of equipment operation and to fix the existing hydrological stat...
