Install the New Equipment of HYCOS Hydro-Met Koh Khel Station

Kandal: June15-18, 2021, Mr. Chheang Hong, National Coordinator for Technical Support Division of Information and Knowledge Management Department of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), led the Mission Team from Department of Hydrology and River Works of MOWRAM and expert from the MRC Secretariat to install the new equipment of HYCOS Hydro-Met Koh Khel Station on the Mekong tributary. As a result, the Mission achieved: (1) Completed the installation of Koh Khel Hydrological Station, including the installation of new equipment, new network equipment and reconnection, testing of equipment, implementation of the verification process to ensure a proper data operation was well recorded and connected to the MRC main sever for data transmission and official use by the member countries got positive signal; and (2) The field observers in charge of water level monitoring at Koh Khel station were technically trained and practiced with the equipment and data....

Workshop on The Announcement of The Three-Year Project (June 17, 2021)

Phnom Penh: HE Vath Bot Kosal, Deputy Secretary General of CNMC, Mr. Kim Seiha, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation and 7 officials of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation participated in the workshop through VDO system with ASEMWater of the People's Republic of China on the announcement of the three-year project on “The Technical Demonstration and Promotion of the Capacity Improvement of Urban Domestic Sewage Treatment and the Scientific Popularization of Environmental Protection under the Background of Low-impact Development” was successfully won the bid for the “Proposal on Lancang-Mekong Cooperation(LMC) Special Fund Program” by the Chinese Institute of Science and Technology in 2019.
