2nd Regional Meeting Of The PNPCA JCWG (January 15, 2021)

Phnom Penh: H. E. Mr. Kol Vathana, Deputy Secretary General of CNMC and the Chairman of the PNPCA JCWG for Cambodia, has leading the Working Groups from Cambodia attending the 2nd Regional Meeting of the PNPCA JCWG, which presided over and leaded by Mr. Oudomsack Philavong, the Deputy Secretary General of LNMC and attended by the PNPCA JCWG from the MCs (Cambodia, Lao PDR., Thailand, and Viet Nam), the Specialists from MRC Secretariat, and the International Experts. The Meeting participants from Cambodia leaded by H. E. Mr. Kol Vathana, jointed by the Cambodian PNPCA JCWG Members from MOWRAM, MAFF, MME, MPWT, and MoE; PNPCA WG Members; and the National Consultants. The overall objectives of the 2nd Meeting of the PNPCA JCWG is to review the second draft of the Technical Review Report (TRR) and provide further comments on this draft and on the proposed SNHPP in order to improve subsequent draft of the TRR. Meeting To Discuss The Preparation Of The 2021 Work Plan To Implement The CNMC’s New Strategic Plan 2021-2025 (January 14, 2021)

Phnom Penh: H.E. Mr. So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, chaired a meeting of the CNMC General Secretariat with participation of Deputy Secretaries General, Advisor to CNMC, Directors and Deputy Directors of Departments and Secretariat, to discuss the preparation of the 2021 Work Plan to implement the CNMC’s new Strategic Plan 2021-2025. To start the Meeting, Excellency Secretary General informed that the document of the CNMC Strategic Plan 2021-2025 was approved by His Excellency Minister and Chairman of the Cambodia National Mekong Committee on January 12, 2021. This is another new achievement, setting out strategic directions and priority for the CNMC to be implemented for the next five year continuing from its Strategic Plan 2016-2020.
